If/When it happens. The masses of sheeple, uninformed, unarmed, and unprepared, that are having their Dancing With The Stars show interrupted, will cry out:

Make it Stop! Please Make It Stop!!!!!

That's exactly what the radicals on the Left want....Than the hammer will fall. Whether SWAT Teams, NG Troops, or the military, the .Gov will come crashing down to restore order.

Curfews, rationing, Martial Law, gun seizures, whatever, think Hurricane Katrina on a National Level. Mostly in large urban areas, and big cities, not so much in the rural areas, but even they will not be exempt.

Once those freedoms have been "taken", for the children, good luck getting them back.

The line in the sand will be drawn. There will be a choice to make.

"If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
Samuel Adams

III

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

I don't foresee that happening in my small town so I would just continue to avoid large cities, and let them burn themselves out.
However those who can't do that might find it an opportunity to whack a few of the leaders.

Class warfare. Occupy groups in the cities. A President that has no regard for the Constitution.....God help us all.

And so the eight hundred thousand are in...and don't think they won't somehow vote.  Never underestimate how low the low lifes are that the politicians put in place to guard the fidelity of the vote (not).

We're finally going to get some warm temperatures coming in this week to really kick off summer.  The republicans had better stand for something with the US Attorney General who is a complete liar and fraud.  Watch for a diversion from the streets to keep it out of the news if they get hot and heavy on Holder.

They are supposed to hold the Contempt of Congress vote on Holder today.
If it were me, I would involve Issa and/ or Grassley in some sort of scandal of their own to divert attention and discredit my accusers.
Since it has long been a standard socialist tactic I don't understand how they have missed it.

I've already begun a letter to Kerry and Brown to demand someone start impeachment proceedings!  I'm not holding my breath..

Won't happen.

If anything happens, it won't be total melt-down.  It will be like the OWS protests.  Look for trouble in certain cities and much less in others.  LA, Seattle, NY, Atlanta-- large cities that are decided liberal will be where the worst of it is.  New Orleans.  They can't get anything right there.  Always localized.  Remember the Watts Riots?  What happened elsewhere?  Nada.  After the Rodney King verdicts (first time)? Trouble in small areas.  I really wanted to see the chick calling for the rioters to leave their black neighborhood head into the rich white neighborhood... imagine the look on the face of the mob when they try to scale or force down the gate only to have someone's brains splattered by a hunting rifle fired from the house.

Less trouble in conservative cities and states.

Neighborhoods ban together to protect their neighborhoods- expect nice subdivisions to protect themselves.  Expect a few anti-capitalist racists to say let's go take some back from this or that- and get a smack down when they do.

Expect the ghettos and barrios to burn.  Expect me not to care.
"OK. You've convinced me. Competitive shooting only improves trigger control, indexing, accuracy, safe weapon handling, target acquisition, transitions, recoil control, shooting on the move, shooting moving targets, shooting in different positions, drawing from a holster, shooting one handed, shooting targets of varying size, difficulty, and distance, and doing those things under the pressure of the clock. Clearly those are skills that are of little importance in self defense or tactical shooting. "  -The post which went ignored and unaddressed.
