Grats, Mauserman!!..

At the risk of being discouraging, I remember my thoughts on my 40th birthday....

They were:  Folks easily live to be 80 now days, so 40 is only half way there....and that second half is gonna be a lot harder than the first half.

But enjoy it the day and have a great one....

(and the trick is to choose your "fights".  Not everything you energetically campaigned for in your youth is worth that expenditure of energy as you age)

Unlike Solus, I'm too far away from my 40th birthday to remember anything about it except that it happened!  Sorry I missed yours.  Hope it was a good one!
