Future of Gun Stories on TV?

Michael, in light of the recent spate of cancellations of similar shows showing positive aspects of gun ownership, what are your predictions for your fine shows?

Better yet, have you looked at picking any of the cancelled shows up(it'd be like a good ole fashioned Fire Sale)?  Sure they suck in their current format, which is why I don't watch them, but you could whip them into shape and make them presentable.

Michael and I cannot predict or have a final say on what our network will do or not do in light of the recent tragedy.

Our shows have always been angled more from an educational perspective than pure entertainment or a reality show.

Our editorial guidelines will remain as they have always been unless told otherwise.

As of now, all we can do is to stay calm and level headed. We do notice that other networks have made some fast decision, but as of now we're staying the course.

You guys will be fine.  8)

Worst case Glenn Beck's network will pick you up.
I used to be open minded but my brain kept falling out.

If The Outdoor Channel decides to drop its MB produced shows, or any of the other Wednesday lineup for that matter, I will have utterly no reason to watch the network.

Same here..... and I'm going to tell them that too.

I pay $2/mo al-a-carte just to watch DRTV (and a couple of others).    If they start dropping shooting shows, I'll drop them like a brick and invest the money in ...  AMMO!

I can watch some of the shooting shows on the Internet for free anyway.

Interesting thing last night:

I got home a little after 10:00pm, made a sandwich, and turned on Wednesday Night At The Range.  Directory tells me that at 10:30 will be Expedition Safari.  I flip to something else, because I don't feel like another African hunting show tonight.  About 10:40pm I flip to channel 396 by mistake, and it is Gun Stories.

Was this a DishTV error, or is OC hiding their program content on purpose  ???  This isn't the first time in the "Post Sandy Hill" era.

It's a regular DishNet program guide error......and not just for the OC either, it is widespread........ they are all the time listing shows in the wrong slot or the wrong air date....plays havoc with a pre-set DVR.
I have missed recording several shows due to this.
