21 Year Drought Has Ended

The last time I killed a deer was Thanksgiving 1995....then life, work, life, marriage, life, etc took precedent. I went off and on each season and then quit after my bike crash. I started back trying to hunt some five or so years ago, but physical limitations and losing hunting rights (the land was sold) on land I'd hunted for years greatly restricted the potential to get one.

My younger son took me a few weeks ago to some land he is leasing from his m-i-l. He set me up in a ground blind but I saw nothing. He took me to the same spot this morning and I got a nice buck.
