Had to pull my gun today
« on: October 14, 2022, 01:04:20 AM »
I was filling up my gas tank this afternoon at the local shell station. I wasn’t the only one there fueling up so I kind of let my guard down. This guy comes up from my left holding a screwdriver and begins to demand I give him my phone and wallet. An older lady two pumps over sees what’s  going on and begins screaming that I’m being robbed. He gets distracted enough that I was able to reach into my car and retrieve my gun. I keep a SP101 in my center console. I was able to pull my gun as he looked back over at me and he panicked. I ordered him to f..k off or else. He bolted off in a blink. Cops came 20 minutes to late. The cops seemed more interested in why I have a gun in my car than asking about POS who tried to rob me. This is the third time I’ve had to use my gun in self defense. Twice now at a gas station and once help retrieve family from a very bad situation Laredo. Talk about oh shit moments

It is a shame the police have gotten that way. If I may ask, what state? Here in Kentucky, other than Louisville and Lexington, the police are NOT that way.
The time for action is upon us and the enemy is at our gates. Let us not allow them one more inch of advancement but instead throw them through the gates of Hell.

Quick response would be to hose his ass down with the gas nozzle.
I saw a video of a lady that did that and the bad guy ran like a scalded cat.

Like J Kennedy asked, what state?

If in a state that doesn't allow CCW, then the gas nozzle solution would work in your favor as it can be explained away as a "startle response" reaction to a threat.

If in a state that allows CCW, then here endeth the lesson.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Unfortunately for me I’m in the peoples republic of California. Bad enough ccw holders like myself have been doxed by the state. The cops are treated me like I'm the criminal.

Unfortunately bad police also get to write reports.  It's terrible that you are subjected to such injustice.

At some point, defunding the police begins to make sense.  When good is bad and bad is good....why would we want anyone policing on the side of evil?

Another political cycle like the one we are in now may be the time to defund in some areas of the nation.

I suspect defunding the police is an effort to justify a purely federal police force down to the local level to establish absolute authority for the communists democrats.  Defund sensible law enforcement, crime goes up and the communists democrats in congress provide a solution that ensures enslavement.  Dovetail defunding with DA's who choose not to prosecute heinous crimes and they will stampede most of this thoughtless population to a local federal police force.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Rule #1: Don't get dead...

Well done! Too bad such an incredible place like California has been basically destroyed by the loons running the asylum...

Glad you're safe!

Yep. Guilty until proven innocent. Believe me MauserMan, I know that feeling. And it's why I think cops are a menace to society. I'll treat them with respect if they respond likewise. But they like to come at me like, we know you did _______ crime, why don't you tell us what happened. And they gave me grief about answering the door with a pistol on my hip one day. Thankfully I've never been in a defensive situation like yours, and I'm glad it turned out okay. No injuries is good, but wasting 10 bucks worth of gas on some @$$hole who deserved it, and asking if anyone has a light, would have been even better IMO.

P.S.  Revolver > Screwdriver.  And some people just need to be vetilated. A good airing out will make everything better.  ;)
