Range report:
Well, I made it out to the farm Saturday to test out my new PM40. As many of you know, I really wanted that 239, but the goal of this purchase was a concealed carry gun. I have to admit, as a die hard 1911 fan, i was a little taken-aback by the plastic frame and short handle. But, with a $6 magazine extension, I really liked the feel of my little pocket gun.
Trigger pull was very pleasing for a DA. Not let of at all. Trigger pull is the same all the way through.
I was shocked at how well the little gun performed. Very little recoil, easy to keep on target, and felt good to shoot. We had 1 round fail to load, but turns out the mag wasnt properly seated. Also, had 1 round jam somewhere in the 1st 100 shots. Flawless operation after that.
While a little on the expensive side, I am pleased with what I got!
So, there you have it. One opinion, worth just about what you paid for it! But, everything considered, I think I made a decent selection for a piece of personal protection.
Now, off to research the next purchase!!!!
