How's that PF9 doing? Mine demands high dollar ammo.

I have had mine Dura coated and now it does not reliably extract Win white box. Every other mag hangs at round 4 or 5. Speer, Remington HPs all do fine and that is what I carry, but damn, it's expensive practice. Didn't do that when new.
Makes no sense to me except now it thinks it's "special", being green and all. I hate spoiled guns.

Mac, I highly suggest you try the federal EFMJ . they are pricy but they are designed to feed well and expansion and penetration are superior. If the work well in practice they would be a great carry round.  just a thought .

Thanks, 2HOW, but what I need is cheap practice ammo that extracts reliably. And, really, this is a nose to nose gun anyway, so practice is 3-5 yards-draw, shoot, no sights, hit and move. I have read good things about the EFMJ rounds and will certainly try a box for carry.

As far as I know, the Kel-Tec's have not been recalled as has the LCP. And the SR9. What next with Ruger?

Not wanting to open up any can of worms, I;m glad I have my P3AT. and passed on the LCP.

Haven't had a problem at all. Hope this recall goes smoother than the last.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
