For all of those who hated on me while I vacationed with my lovely wife and new bride in Oahu (I'm looking at you, Kenny!), we did return last night to 17 above. This morning it was 3 above here in Lexington, with minus 8 for wind chill.

My son's car, parked in our sloping driveway, won't start so he spent the night with us. Seems he left it nose down on the driveway with less than 1/8 tank of gas, and we have been below freezing since Christmas day. Seems the 5 years he lived at Pendleton in SoCal caused him to forget to keep the tank filled when cold is predicted.

Oh, and it snowed here last night too.

Well, I hate to hear about the stalled car in the driveway.  And...really, Hawaii?  How cool is that?

It was 2 degrees when I got up around 8 AM.  But....NO SNOW!!!  We're good and dry around here.

Glad you visited Hawaii.  It may get messed up by NK later this year.

23° in south GA this AM with wind chill making it feel like in the teens.....pretty much the same for the next few days.
We need the cold to help the pecan and peach trees because we haven't had enough chill hours the last few years.....but, it surely makes Ol' Peg ache when it gets this cold.

Cold and a 40% chance of snow tomorrow with less than an inch of accumulation. And a good chance of 1-3 inches Sunday night and another inch Monday.   :(

Was -6 at 6am here...but got up to -4 by 9.   Wind chill -15 to -25...brisk...
