LC Charger 5.7x28mm Pistol

First Ruger made the 5.7 pistol, then made the LC Carbine that took the same mags. Now they've gone and cut theLC Carbine down into a handy dandy little LC Charger Pistol, with a Picatinny rail on the back that will accept a stock! I want! AFAIK, no one make any high-cap mags for it, but TandemKross makes their Wingman +5 Magazine Bumpers for it. They also make the Eagle Eye Rear Sight Set with a fiber optic sight and a peep sight. I think an SBR with 25 round mags and a peep sight would hake a great holiday gift!

If I had one with a folding stock and 25 round mags, I'd be happy with it, but pistols the size of carbines don't do much for me either. Like the PSA JAKL 5.56 Pistol. The Long Stroke Gas Piston Operating System makes it even heavier than it should be. It's front heavy and weighs over 6 1/2 pounds without a magazine! With a 10.5" barrel it weighs more than an M16A1 with a 20" barrel. On the other hand, the Ruger LC Charger 5.7x28mm Pistol weighs a little over 4 pounds and you can keep it under 5 pounds with the right stock or pistol brace.

I'll stick with the PS90. 

Another pistol though...I'd like to get something other than the FN.  I understand from some youtubes that the Ruger may have a fault that could cause a discharge.  I like the reviews on the Palmetto State guns but..I'm boycotting them now because when you ship UPS they put it on FedEX...which is always a problem for me.  So I do not order from Palmetto State any longer....yep...I dropped them because they ship FedEx.

However....M&P has a 5.7 out now.  I do like the M&P's...I may have to scarf one up.  After I sell a cow or two.

I'd rather have an M&P .22 MAGNUM than a 5.7. It comes with a 30 round mag instead of 22, and although it's not cheap, .22 WMR is still a LOT cheaper than 5.7x28mm. Like $900 cheaper for 2,0000 rounds at ammo .com, the first place I looked. $500 vs. $1,400, or 2.8 times the price for 5.7mm. The pistol lists for $50 less too, but the cost of ammo is  more important to me. It barks like a centerfire but kicks like a .22 LR.
