outrider, thanks.  Your assumption is correct.  That would seem the case but on the strong side Avenger the belt loop is toward the triggerguard and it is said that it was added to pull/hold the holster in.  Didn't know if it needed to be switched for a crossdraw or not or if is even necessary.  Like I said, I am not a holster designer/maker just a what if guy.

Ellis,

on the crossdraw you have a reverse angle to what is normally used on a strong side holster, therefore additional leather must be sed in order to obtain a good workable angle
