Anyone have pics or a pattern of a dual mag pancake pouch?
« on: December 08, 2011, 09:43:21 PM »
I have been trying to build a double mag pouch for a Glock, but it needs to be a pancake style. Can someone post some pics of yours to see what you did? I have several abandoned attempts on my bench. Those bulky Glock mags are getting the best of me.... >:(
Thanks,

Sorry I dont have a scanner so this is the best I can do . These are 2 patterns that I use the most . The bottom one is the most popular .

That bottom pattern will result in this .....

and this...the mags in this picture are backwards for some reason , It wasnt made that way  ???

I dont have any pictures of the top pattern  :-[

Hey Insta. That helps a bunch.
I have been doing the square piece of leather thing, and it just turns into wierd bulges and bumps when I try to put a mag in it.
Your pics have helped me a bunch!
Thanks.

My first few were like that . One thing you will notice is that the top of the pouch will bow down a bit cause the top of the leather is stretched and the bottom is not . however I found if you bone the lines of the mag it will aid it straightening  them out . I pretty much use that design all the time now . It is a bit bulky but everyone seems to love them so far . You can also substitute one of the mag pouches for a flashlight to . just retrace a new line on one thats more round at the bottom .
