Bailing out from ca funny
« on: January 20, 2021, 08:30:46 PM »
I have a friend moving from folsom( just east of sacramento) to Dallas.

He did the math on renting a uhaul.  It is almost 3k cheaper for him to take a 1 way flight there, pick up the truck locally, drive it back, fill it and drive it there.   Thats how much in demand 1 way uhauls are

That's wild, and really telling. No wonder California wants to keep taxing people after they've abandoned the place.
for the last 2 years they have had a net loss in people leaving vs people moving too.  What does that tell you.

Sooner or later, all of this has to go bang. They can't hemorrhage people forever.

Have you ever calculated how fast those rats breed ?
Maybe not forever, but for a good long time .
Hell, we been pouring people INTO the state since 1849 till the great backwash began.

The miners came in 49
The whores in 51
When they got together
They begat the native son.
