I'll definitely be state side for the convention. I'm heading North from St. Pete Florida. I'll try to get TW in on the ride too, I know he's been to one before with his son. anyway, I I end up with space on the ride up I can pick someone up. let me know. now all I need to worry about is getting my 'Michael buys the beer!' wrist band as I am outside the country and have no way to send an SASE. see y'all there.

Cool beans.  I'm still waiting for my wrist band.  Should have asked for 2.

A quick question: has anyone received their wrist bands yet?

We leave for Louisville next Wednesday and I'm worried that it hasn't arrived yet.

Got mine today too. It's lovely shade of green, so I guess I'm in for free beer!!!!!

On another note, called the NRA again, almost 2 weeks after they said they would resend my credentials. Turns out, there are NO credentials, just the neck strap/holder and a folding card. The card gets you in. Not clear, NRA!

That's great news that they arrived. I guess mine will be here by the weekend (fingers crossed).

I'm going as Media so I'll get my credentials when I arrive.

I got my wristband last week, too.  All set.  I just have to work 60 hours between tomorrow and Thursday.  See you folks next Saturday.

P.S.  My wrist band is yellow.  Hmm...

Anyway, I was thinking that maybe we should grab a table just for forum members on Saturday.  That way we don't have to wonder who's who.  Who can make up a nice sign?

My schedule cleared up, so I am a go!!!

My wristband is yellow as well. Is there a hierarchy to this stuff? ;)

I can't understand people who think banning guns makes them safer. They must also believe that banning books makes them smarter.

Our wristbands arrived in the mail today. Pheww! I was sweating it as we leave on Wednesday for Louisville.

Michael picked a great location to have the event. It is right on Whiskey Row.

I'll see you folks on Saturday if not before!
