eotech owners HELP

OK, thanks for you assistance in mounting my 512.A65. It sits very securely now. My question is this. If I mount it far enough forward to put on a rear buis, the front will touch the handguard of my AR. Will this effect accuracy?

It should not especially if the screws on the mount are secure. But there should be room for both with a little space front, rear and in between. How long is your rail? And how long is the Eotech - is this the one that takes full AA batteries?

I have mine set pretty far forward but it doesn't actually touch the D-ring. It's hard to get a picture to show it. The relief notch on the sight makes it work just fine.






There's enough room on mine to get it all in there.

No, I don't think so, He seems to be asking so many questions in order to AVOID shooting himself in the foot.  ;D
