It is a pretty well known fact that the CIA experimented on various people including soldiers by administering them LSD.  Come to find out that they also used a drug called scopolamine.

Just on a tangent, there are a couple of St. louis related cases.

The first is the Army hiring out contractors to spray zinc cadmium sulfide in the 1960's/1970's around a black housing project:
