Your rifle was made in 1955.  Congrats on it, can't wait to get home to shoot my new to me SA M1 also.

Get home safely, and let it rip with the M1. I purchased the milsrup 200rd "can" for $98, from the CMP also.. S&H was $16.

Best prices I've seen for 30-06.
