Sure is hot out here....was in Arkansas yesterday and saw 102.

It hit 118F here yesterday at around 3:30 PM. The house stayed at 78F. The pool water is right around 94F.

Your pool was hotter then  our high.



Ps look in too shade cloth for it, you can cut your temps, by several degrees, with out going too a chiller
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

after 35years of shooting USPSA/IPSC/3 gun, I finally broke down and added a beach umbrella to the gun cart (soft sided cooler was first thing added after the ATV gun racks....it was brutally hot at Ruskin for the July match

We're enjoying mid-80s here for part of the week at least.   ;D

I almost needed an umbrella at Rockcastle.  Their temporary shade tents got destroyed in the very violent storm that passed through the night before we shot.  Fortunately there was almost constant cloud cover that morning.  That and I lathered with so much sun screen my legs are still white enough to do a camera white balance on.

Alf... a two day Area 6 match at Frostproof in July is memorable, but so was the first Ga State Match I shot at the Flint River Club just outside of Americus... on the range built for the Secret Service when Jimmy was President... a red clay pit with no air, and a tremendous heat sink  8)
