I don't even know what to say TAB. Just know, and I think I am speaking for everyone here, when I say that she will have our prayers and you have got our sympathy. If you ever need to vent, we will be here.

Count me with Phil, I hope the surgery goes well.

I'm so sorry to hear that, TAB. When this happened to us, I was surprised how much more it hurt, than I thought it could.
-
Sorry to hear that I'll try to keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers
-
Sad news, indeed. You've got Crusader's thoughts and prayers that the surgery goes quickly and painlessly, and that recovery is rapid and complete.

Tab,..... There really aren't any "right "words...
Just try to keep your thoughts and your heart on the pathway that everything happens for certain reasons...
There are no accidents in this life.. even though it feels sometimes as if everything is out of control.
There is..for each and every one of us.. a map and plan with learning lessons attached to it and for reasons that most generally we can't remember making with God ..and wouldn't totally understand in our earthly form.
But maybe that little spirit of a child just wasn't quite ready to come to you.. But rest assured.. he will! :) When all is right and everything and everyone on both sides are ready.. he/she will be here.. perfect and ready to start their life with you.
Hold tight to that... and to each other... for your love will get you through all things..
-
TAB, I have been in your shoes, 23 years ago. I know that there are no right words just as others here have stated. Take care of your wife, but don't neglect yourself either.

I can't think of anyway to put it. That sucks! I'm sorry for your loss. Know that you two are in my prayers.

Add my name to the long list of well wishers and prayer givers.
God Bless,

TAB, you and the doc are in our thoughts and prayers. Be there for each other and know that God has a plan for you. I can't begin to imagine the range of emotions you have been going through, and are continuing to experience. Take care of her and of yourself. We may bust your chops around here frequently, but we are truly one big dysfunctional family, and when one of us is hurting, all are hurting.
Please keep us posted, my friend. May God provide you comfort and strength in this difficult time.
Tom

Good to hear TAB.
Get some rest, both of you!
-
Glad to hear the surgery went without a hitch. Both of you get some rest.
-
Good News, TAB....
Both of yas hang in there.
-
Take good care of her TAB. As much as we may gripe about each other our spouse really is the most important person in the world to us!
-
Glad to hear the surgery went well TAB. A friend of mine almost died from an ectopic pregnancy so I know it's serious.
-
Just caught this thread, TAB......glad to hear the surgery went well, really hate the reason for its necessity. It is never easy when a loved one has surgery.
I will keep you both in my prayers.
-
Glad to hear the surgery went well. Wishing the best for Mrs. Tab and you.

Speedy recovery to Mrs. TAB, and all the best to you both.

I am really saddened to hear of your loss. We had something similar 20+ years ago. I am glad to know all went well and I pray the emotional sadness and pain is eased in the knowledge that your child is safe in the arms of God.
-
I, too, just caught this thread TAB. So sorry to hear about your loss. Having just had my wife in bad shape, it's doubly terrible for you. Prayers and thoughts.
-
Tab... how is your wife feeling today? I don't mean this in a disrespectful way towards you as a male.. so please don't take it as such.. but this will stick with her longer and in a different way than it will with you.Treat her with gentle hands, patience and emotions..
-
Don't really know mette, the Pain pills they gave her have had her asleep for all but about a hour since we got home.
-
Tab,
I also just caught wind of this thread. I am truly sorry to hear of the problem and I sincerely hope that all is now (mostly anyway) well. I know there will be a little recovery time both physically and mentally so my best wishes and prayers to you both.

That may be the best thing for her right now, my friend. We're praying for you.

I just saw this thread, but I hope everything went well. Just know, Tab, you can add me to the long list of those praying for you and your wife. May God supply your family with, much needed, healing and comfort.

I don't even know what to say except that I wish you and your wife all the best. To call this a wrenching event is an incredible understatement. Be thoughtful of each others feelings and heal as one.

Went to the doc today for the fallow up. Every thing is OK. Got some great news and some bad news.
1st the great.
she has another week off fallowed by 4 more weeks where she has lost her privlages( can't be in the OR) It will be nice to spend time with her, no on call crap, just office vists/fallow ups.
The bad, no... well you know for 6 weeks. :'(
-
Is that some sort of "Light Duty" way of working her back into the schedule ?
Glad things are turning out OK.
I don't think much of many of your opinions, but you have been putting up with a lot of crap this past year with work, Her new car, and all yet you have maintained your normal tone through it all.
You should be commended for bearing up so well.
-
No, it has to do with infectious diseases. with a open wound, you could either catch of pass something on.
They don't want that liabilty.
Tom, if you can't change things, don't let them bother you.
There are those out there that would say my normal tone is pissed off... ;D

I'm pretty much in the same boat since our favorite surgeon gutted Maggie like a fish. Even though I believe that doctors should always have to have a little of their own medicine, my heart bleeds for you, TAB. How does it feel to be "collateral damage"?

They say, the worst patient are doctors. They are right. I had to tell her to zip it and let them do there jobs a couple times before the operation.

Okay, ignoring, at great effort, the low haging fruit of the 69 comment, which would keep you both happy for the next 6 weeks ;), I will just focus on the impotant thing. The Car. Well done sir! I can't imagine a better gift that did not involve diamonds, a passport or extra mags. ;D

Sometimes, your inability to spell (or use a spell checker) can create unintentionally hilarious results. Of course, even the funny result is mis-spelled . . . . . ;)
