I don't even know what to say except that I wish you and your wife all the best.  To call this a wrenching event is an incredible understatement.  Be thoughtful of each others feelings and heal as one.

Went to the doc today for the fallow up.  Every thing is OK.  Got some great news and some bad news.


1st the great.

she has another week off fallowed by 4 more weeks where she has lost her privlages( can't be in the OR)  It will be nice to spend time with her, no on call crap, just office vists/fallow ups.


The bad, no... well you know for 6 weeks.   :'( 
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Glad things are turning out OK.
I don't think much of many of your opinions, but you have been putting up with a lot of crap this past year with work, Her new car, and all yet you have maintained your normal tone through it all.
You should be commended for bearing up so well.

I'm pretty much in the same boat since our favorite surgeon gutted Maggie like a fish. Even though I believe that doctors should always have to have a little of their own medicine, my heart bleeds for you, TAB. How does it feel to be "collateral damage"?
