Biden is a harmless, old, party hack. He has no "agenda". Like most V.P.'s he does what he's told and follows orders, and in general acts as a promoter of Hussein's policies. He would never be electable, and would just use up oxygen until the next election. Hussein is going to get mean after next Tuesday. He'll take the defeat of the dems personally, and become even more of what the people don't want, simply because he'll view them as the enemy. Bill Clinton was smart in that regard. He changed his overly liberal tune, and got reelected because of it. Hussein will do just the opposite. There in lies the danger. Bill T.

Sadly, thats probably true. He is deveping a reputation for being thin skinned. Clinton learned from being booted as governor in Arkansas as a liberal, then won 4 years later running as a moderate. He did the same thig DC. He tried healthcare and the like and after failing, started on welfare reform, tough crime bills and spending cuts. I'm not sure BO is that flexible (of course, its easy to be flexible if all you beileve in is that you should be president). BO seems to believe in his own mission, and I don't see a mea culpa and a course correction in the works.

Would not surprise me to see something just like this, Tom. If the Dummycraps try something like that, the whole lot of them should be brought up on charges of treason and sedition. I betcha there'd be a lot of volunteers to organize that firing squad.

I wouldn't worry too much. The dems in general are running from him as quickly as they can. The election will spell out in capitol letters what happens to liberal democrats who side with, and vote for Hussein's unpopular, unwanted policies. Put his "Immigration Reform" at the top of the list. Defeated dems will read like a who's who of which dems voted for, and still support his policies, and which do not. The ones who survive will be lucky at best, on very thin ice in fact. They can learn from the far lefts mistakes, change and possibly survive, or march forward and continue to destroy their party along with their own political careers. Voter anger isn't going away anytime soon, regardless of how well the Republicans do. Bill T.

They can pass any law they want and THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES FOR THEM.
There will be some of the Party Line Dems who were not voted out. Many of them are likely not to follow the Party Line for fear of being put out next time. This will reduce the power of the Dem congress somewhat.
Immigration (amnesty) might have the draw to those not booted as it could mean more votes for them in the next election. I'd look at that as the biggest threat of the lame ducks session.
Gun Control seems to be an issue to be avoided in the best of times and these times are not so good for liberals. I'd guess they will stay clear of that issue.

How many speeches did he make to the American people? And in spite of it he still had to ram it down our throats. It took a lot of time and effort. They don't have it this time around. Do they even have an Immigration reform bill drafted that is out of committee? They couldn't move fast enough if you put a cattle prod up their a$$. Most of those defeated will be making moves to help their income after they leave office, not trying to firebrand the democrats they are no longer a part of. Most could care less. Where is all of this unity going to come from once these clowns are branded as the losers they are? Bill T.

Congress passed health care. It was not passed by Executive Order. It took 18 months to pass it, not 60 days. It passed by just 3 votes. Nothing will happen with immigration reform in either House from Tuesday to the new session. If they didn't lose a seat, and the political climate remained the same, they would not have the votes. If they did they would have done it. They need the hispanic vote this election. They are losing it because of their failure to pass an immigration reform bill as Hussein had promised. Why? If they couldn't get it done before the massive Republican tidal wave that is coming, how are they going to after? If you can't run a 4 minute mile in good health, how are you going to with a sprained ankle? That is the reality. Bill T.

Univision host Jorge Ramos crowed about it on his Twitter page, promoting an interview with Reid scheduled to air this Sunday. The Huffington Post confirmed:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has promised to bring the DREAM Act, an important piece of legislation for the Latino community, to a vote in the Senate after the November elections — whether or not Democrats retain their majority.
Reid’s remarks will air Sunday on Univision in an interview with host Jorge Ramos. On Twitter, Ramos wrote, “Harry Reid told me that, win or lose, he will present again the Dream Act in the Senate after the elections.”
The Huffington Post confirmed Reid’s remark with a Democratic source, who said that the exact timeline hasn’t yet been worked out. The source noted that because the federal government is operating under a continuing resolution, the first order of business will likely be approving new funding, as well as approving a large number of Obama nominees who have been blocked by Republicans. But the source confirmed that Reid’s answer to Ramos on whether he will bring up the DREAM Act was an “unequivocal yes.”
