I wouldn't worry too much. The dems in general are running from him as quickly as they can. The election will spell out in capitol letters what happens to liberal democrats who side with, and vote for Hussein's unpopular, unwanted policies. Put his "Immigration Reform" at the top of the list. Defeated dems will read like a who's who of which dems voted for, and still support his policies, and which do not. The ones who survive will be lucky at best, on very thin ice in fact. They can learn from the far lefts mistakes, change and possibly survive, or march forward and continue to destroy their party along with their own political careers. Voter anger isn't going away anytime soon, regardless of how well the Republicans do.  Bill T.

There will be some of the Party Line Dems who were not voted out.  Many of them are likely not to follow the Party Line for fear of being put out next time.  This will reduce the power of the Dem congress somewhat.

Immigration (amnesty) might have the draw to those not booted as it could mean more votes for them in the next election.  I'd look at that as the biggest threat of the lame ducks session.

Gun Control seems to be an issue to be avoided in the best of times and these times are not so good for liberals.  I'd guess they will stay clear of that issue.

How many speeches did he make to the American people? And in spite of it he still had to ram it down our throats. It took a lot of time and effort. They don't have it this time around. Do they even have an Immigration reform bill drafted that is out of committee? They couldn't move fast enough if you put a cattle prod up their a$$. Most of those defeated will be making moves to help their income after they leave office, not trying to firebrand the democrats they are no longer a part of. Most could care less. Where is all of this unity going to come from once these clowns are branded as the losers they are? Bill T.

This is a perfect example of voter ADD, obviously Bill does not remember all the executive orders in the first 30 days, Nationalizing GM, and the "Stimulus".

Plus, only 1/3rd of the senate is up for reelection. Do you really think those Dem senators are going to follow their voted out House collegues down the gangplank?
