To quote "if I have to explain further, you wouldn't understand".
Well...I undertand that Wyoming is a great place from May to October. The rest of the year though? ;D
FQ13 who is enjoying the 80 degree day and debating how to cook the sea trout I caught the day before yesterday (and look ma! no hole cut through the ice recquired). ;)

"Where the wind might blow occasionally?"
Master of understatement there.
Last time I drove through Wyoming, and it is beautiful, the wind wanted to change driving lanes for me.
At least everyone around me did the same amount of shift. ;D

First time I was in Wyoming was with the NG. Cooks served a lettuce and tomato salad every dinner. You had to put a freaking rock on the salad to keep it from blowing away.
Oh yeah, you could see Devils Tower from our firing positions too, it was 50 or 100 miles away. ::)
I will note that we were with in a mile or 2 of the "Oregon Trai"l wagon ruts that were pictured, about the same distance from The cliff with all the names carved in it. (they go back to some Spaniard in the 1600's, and yes I added mine ;D )
We always knew where to find the motor Pool Sgt. The Laramie River formed the back boundry of the base ;D

At least you defended Wyoming Tom. Thats something to be proud of. As we all know "He who controls Laramie, controls the US". ;D

Actually we blew the crap out of small portions of it .

You can always tell someone from Wyoming, because we have, through evolution all developed about a 20 degree lean.

Why Wyoming? So that people from my neck of the woods, can drive up to Cheyenne to buy fireworks that are illegal in Colorado.

I guess Wyoming has "Kentucky Windage" beat?... ::)
Wyoming Windage maybe?
;D

Yea, figure out your elevation, then adjust your windage by turning till you can't see the target in your scope anymore. You'll be dead on at 300 yds. :P

I was looking for that picture of the "wyoming windsock"
