Master of understatement there.
Last time I drove through Wyoming, and it is beautiful, the wind wanted to change driving lanes for me.
At least everyone around me did the same amount of shift. 
First time I was in Wyoming was with the NG. Cooks served a lettuce and tomato salad every dinner. You had to put a freaking rock on the salad to keep it from blowing away.
Oh yeah, you could see Devils Tower from our firing positions too, it was 50 or 100 miles away.

I will note that we were with in a mile or 2 of the "Oregon Trai"l wagon ruts that were pictured, about the same distance from The cliff with all the names carved in it. (they go back to some Spaniard in the 1600's, and yes I added mine
