I guess if they all stayed liquored up, they would have at least a remotely legitimate excuse for the endless flow of crap they produce on the Senate and House floors.

Keep 'em distracted with booze and hookers...........

Considering that the Revolution, Declaration of Independence, and Constitution were fueled by rum and wine it might not be a bad idea.

Or try to distract the AWAY from the booze and hookers! Maybe they would actually do their jobs. 
Yeah I know, impossible...but I can dream of a politician doing something other than campaigning for the next go around.

If we're lucky the government will shut down in a few days, and then we'll all be safe. :P
