Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Been there...

Done that...

And Ted Kennedy wasn't my idea of a good senator.
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

And then there is John Tower and a host of others. "The first openly drunk Senator"? That honor was taken long ago. :P

I guess if they all stayed liquored up, they would have at least a remotely legitimate excuse for the endless flow of crap they produce on the Senate and House floors.

Keep 'em distracted with booze and hookers...........

Considering that the Revolution, Declaration of Independence, and Constitution were fueled by rum and wine it might not be a bad idea.

Or try to distract the AWAY from the booze and hookers! Maybe they would actually do their jobs.
Yeah I know, impossible...but I can dream of a politician doing something other than campaigning for the next go around.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

Congressional gridlock is the only hope we have.
