Nope! Since there are so many of the enemy, you simply must use a mini-gun ;)

COOL!

I can see where it would be very useful in repelling boarding parties. (http://www.mazeguy.net/employed/pirate.gif)

Before I reccomend a hunting gun I need to know an important bit of information:

Are you trophy hunting and planning on having the egg mounted; are you food hunting and hoping to eat it; or is this just fun shooting like prairie dog hunting?

There was an article in an Guns and Ammo magazine 20 some years ago that discussed building a 22/458 cartridge. Basically necking a 22 long rifle up to .458 calibre. Sounds like that would be the ticket for them easter eggs.

It is not the eggs but that darn easter bunny you need to get.  Hence you should use a 12 gauge.

.825 EE?? Hmmm.
Clearly a "sporting arm" exception to the Destructive Device definition, in my opinion.
