Don't know about "egg on face," but I bet you could get sunny side up with the right tracer!  ;D

There was an article in an Guns and Ammo magazine 20 some years ago that discussed building a 22/458 cartridge. Basically necking a 22 long rifle up to .458 calibre. Sounds like that would be the ticket for them easter eggs.

It is not the eggs but that darn easter bunny you need to get.  Hence you should use a 12 gauge.
