I've received no requests for bail money, nor have I heard any stories of debauchery. Come to think of it, after the Chi-town incident, I'm probably the LAST person to whom M58 will share stories of debauchery. ;D

No news, good news?

I've heard nothing on the evening news, no scroll on my Fox news link.....
Did you get the man to the airport on time or is he on a freighter bound for Shanghai?
;D

Its clear, they have not sobbered up enough to call for bail money yet.

I have drank myself sober back in my youth....you get to a point where nothing is flowing through your system but alcohol..
Then, reality sets in!

I don't think they have the flamability test yet (eg hold a lighter close and if your sweat ignites) so he should be good.

It was a great morning, but far too short!
We all survived, or at least I did and all others were well when I left. I would have loved to spend another 24 hours like I had planned at first, but with Audrey at home and us only having seen each other for two days in over two weeks it was time to make it a very short visit.
Met two great guys face to face, and one sweet and lovely, and very short, lady that is far too good for her bald hubby ;) The homemade beer was a great breakfast, and the gun play is always a joy. Any homebrewers out there that need to know - I personally vouch for Haz's wheat beer, and even though I only tasted it I can't wait to try more of the stout.
I grumbled when the cabbie showed up over 20 minutes early, and we all had to say good bye. However, it turned out to be a good thing! Bag check took forever, TSA involved two bag searches (only checked one bag!), and TSA for me turned into my first ever scanner photos and a pat down by a not so cute dude. All of this means that instead of reaching the gate far too early, I was there just fifteen minutes before boarding (I had planned to enter the baggage check two hours prior to flight time, and was actually there two and a half hours ahead of flight - thank GOD!).
Even sadder than not being able to spend enough time together is that in the rush we didn't get any photos taken!
Guy's: The three of you are right up there with anyone I have ever met when traveling! And just like other forum members, it would have been a shame to miss you (In Dave's case "miss you again"). It makes me feel even worse for not making the stop a year and a half ago when I traveled through and didn't stop to see Alf, Haz or CR ... By the way, where the hell was the big bad bunny ???
Thanks again!!!

Probably had better luck at that gay bar in Chicago ;D

By the way - I would love to go on a trip and not come home with an interesting story:
Friday afternoon I walk into my hotel room ... damn nice room by the way*!!! Within five minutes my cellphone rings and it's Haz. About the third thing out of his mouth is "your wife is home." How the hell did he know my wife is home ???
* When I called to book a room for the conference the block of rooms at the hotel were full. However, the hotel has another property a half mile up the beach, and they would get me a king room for the same price. I agreed and booked it. Wednesday morning I check in, they give me the keys and up I go: top floor, very close to the beach end of the building, and from the outside I already noticed that these must be good sized rooms with door and window on both sides. I enter the room to find out it is a suite ;D Bedroom with king bed, tv, dvd player and full bath; another full bath in the hallway; living room with two couches; dining area; large screen tv on the wall; full kitchen; and a balcony with table, two chairs and two lounge chairs ;D
Only thing missing was the wife :'(

Yes!!! But only because my date was observant, and she got me out of there quick.

This Rabbit had a commitment that could not be postponed. I had the honor of officiating at the wedding of a proud, young Marine and his lovely bride. See the topic: I Married a Marine Today in the forum
Still, I was sorry to miss M58's visit.
