I was just on Springfield Armory's website and the homepage says "Another XDM is about to be born." The picture shows the bottom of the magazine (clip? ;) ) with the caliber and capacity blanked. So will it be 9mm or .45? Anybody hear anything?

I thought it was they were going to offer an OD green frame. Something bigger maybe?
-
.50 AE???
lol
;D

Already saw a 9mm 19+1 version on gunbroker.com, I think.

I have been looking for a USPSA Limited gun and was leaning towards a Para P16-40 but after looking at the XDm 40 I may be headed in another direction. I had thought about a Glock 35 but I have two others and wanted something different. I hadn't thought about the XD since the standard version didn't have the capacity to be competitive in Limited but the XDm does and has the extensions available too. Tight race now, the XDm, G35 and the Para with the XDm and G35 MUCH cheaper and can be customized for the cost of a new Para but the Para being a 1911 based SA and shoots a little faster and is heavier/more controlable. decisions decisions ::)

Uh oh, here we go again. :) :) :)
Still! :D

Just when does a magazine become a clip, and when does a clip become a turd?
Oh...sorry...mixing my post subjects.

I have an M+P .40 and have had zero issues, as the pistol gets better the more I shoot it. Coming up on the 1000rd mark.
Haven't really posted anything about it, because its the "quiet" reliability that just speaks for itself.
The Big BUT is, I am a closet XD fan, and have had one on the "short" list for some time. Than the XDM came out and spurred my interest even more.
19+1 in 9mm? Holy Smokes Batman!!! :o :o. That's quite a platform. My Springfield 1911A1, has never let me down, maybe its time to go to the "XD" side of the force.
Thanks for the heads up, let us know if I need a cigar to welcome a new addition to your family. (With pics of course) ;)

And just WHY are you here mixing post subjects when you SHOULD be mixing sound tracks? ;D

So many pistols, so little funds,...but I'm saving and scrimping(is that a word?) to get one. I always said I would, and before BHO has a chance, I'll get one, even if I have to cuss out my credit card statement. 8)
Hawkfish and ericire would be proud........
Like the Bojangles commercial,,,, Gotta, Wanna, Needa, well you know,... ;D

FYI I SHOULD have been mixing... we've been so busy we told the engineer to go ahead and mix 4 tunes and we'd listen to them and tweak them....not so much... he went off on a tangent here and there and it's disappointing. So we've got to talk about the mixes and the approach... it's not like we're Duran Duran or something... keep it simple baby.

Jaybethel doesn't get into the music as much as you think he does. I caught him peeking. ;D JK. It's an old joke.
