Another XDm coming

I was just on Springfield Armory's website and the homepage says "Another XDM is about to be born."  The picture shows the bottom of the magazine (clip?  ;) ) with the caliber and capacity blanked.  So will it be 9mm or .45?  Anybody hear anything?

I thought it was they were going to offer an OD green frame.  Something bigger maybe?

Already saw a 9mm 19+1 version on gunbroker.com, I think.

I have been looking for a USPSA Limited gun and was leaning towards a Para P16-40 but after looking at the XDm 40 I may be headed in another direction.  I had thought about a Glock 35 but I have two others and wanted something different.  I hadn't thought about the XD since the standard version didn't have the capacity to be competitive in Limited but the XDm does and has the extensions available too.  Tight race now, the XDm, G35 and the Para with the XDm and G35 MUCH cheaper and can be customized for the cost of a new Para but the Para being a 1911 based SA and shoots a little faster and is heavier/more controlable.  decisions decisions ::)

I have an M+P .40 and have had zero issues, as the pistol gets better the more I shoot it. Coming up on the 1000rd mark.

Haven't really posted anything about it, because its the "quiet" reliability that just speaks for itself.

The Big BUT is, I am a closet XD fan, and have had one on the "short" list for some time. Than the XDM came out and spurred my interest even more.

19+1 in 9mm? Holy Smokes Batman!!! :o :o. That's quite a platform. My Springfield 1911A1, has never let me down, maybe its time to go to the "XD" side of the force.
