I am buying new gun tomorrow. ;D
How about you?

I've been trying since before the election to buy two AR's. Tomorrow morning, baring work, will be some phone time to a couple more gun shops and then a trip in the afternoon to buy if they have (Tuesday afternoons are supposed to be time off for me). Whether or not find an AR I will be closing the deal on a handgun I've been trying out.

No, I do not own the store, just the local Mom & Pop among 3 other big box sporting goods stores in the area.

Lets call a spade a spade here, and say what this gun will undoubtedly be looked upon as now that Obama is in office.......
Its an evil black handgun that is not suited for sporting purposes and which has a detachable "clip" and whose only purpose clearly is for use in mob style assassinations and it will probably end up in some gangbangers hand or cause the death of some innocent minority child because of its careless religion-clinging owner not locking it away in an impenetrable bunker with a government approved trigger lock and atleast 30 miles away from any and all bullets.

Marshal celebrated today and bought himself a DPMS AR 15...

Four magazines for my Ruger Mark III
and four 30 rounders for the AR's
I talked to the gunsmith and just about completed the deal on the Para. Would have gotten it done, but we started talking on either trading or rebuilding my STI.
Also finally found a DPMS AP4 in .308, but the dealer thinks it is made of gold ???

First thing this morning in the post office box was a brown envelope from Springfield, MA.
My two free 16 round mags for the new S&W M&P9 ;D
Two with the gun, two free as a bonus, now I wish I could buy a couple more, but everyone is out and S&W won't sell them right now :(

Unprompted as we talked about people overpaying on gunbroker.com ($1500-$1700) the dealer I was with for the dealer I was with for the .5.56 said cost on the .308 was just over $1,000. Half an hour later I finally got a hold of a dealer I heard had a good supply and he is the one that quoted me $1,998.00.

I bought mine five days before the election...I was told by the manufacturer "If BO gets elected, you won't even be able to get a hold of me on the phone." I bought it, and when I tried to find out when it would be done in late December, I had real trouble getting a hold of them on the phone. But I got my gun.

Zero Tolerance in Wilmar, MN. 80 mile drive one way, but what better way to spend a nice afternoon. He had six new and four or five used. Found out he grew up ten miles from me and went to school with my youngest sister (nice part of having a unique last name is that people recognize it quickly).

There were also numorous mags purchased and ammo as able to find.
Now I need to work a little harder to pay for all this ... Was doing fine and everything was a cash deal until the big boy showed up last week, six months ahead of schedual.
I'm sure that this would be viewed as panic buying, take your best shot ..., but all were planned. Have a few other items on the list that got pushed down because they are a lever action and either a break or pump action that I don't think anyone will bother with.
