Its an evil black handgun that is not suited for sporting purposes and which has a detachable "clip" and whose only purpose clearly is for use in mob style assassinations and it will probably end up in some gangbangers hand or cause the death of some innocent minority child because of its careless religion-clinging owner not locking it away in an impenetrable bunker with a government approved trigger lock and atleast 30 miles away from any and all bullets.

I talked to the gunsmith and just about completed the deal on the Para.  Would have gotten it done, but we started talking on either trading or rebuilding my STI.

Also finally found a DPMS AP4 in .308, but the dealer thinks it is made of gold

Unprompted as we talked about people overpaying on gunbroker.com ($1500-$1700) the dealer I was with for the dealer I was with for the .5.56 said cost on the .308 was just over $1,000.  Half an hour later I finally got a hold of a dealer I heard had a good supply and he is the one that quoted me $1,998.00.
