Title: Obama is "overwhelmed"
Post by: ericire12 on March 07, 2009, 03:46:14 PM
http://hotair.com/archives/2009/03/07/great-news-obama-fumbled-brown-visit-because-hes-in-over-his-head/

Quote
Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been “overwhelmed” by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.

British officials, meanwhile, admit that the White House and US State Department staff were utterly bemused by complaints that the Prime Minister should have been granted full-blown press conference and a formal dinner, as has been customary. They concede that Obama aides seemed unfamiliar with the expectations that surround a major visit by a British prime minister. …

Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president’s surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk.

A well-connected Washington figure, who is close to members of Mr Obama’s inner circle, expressed concern that Mr Obama had failed so far to “even fake an interest in foreign policy”. …

The American source said: “Obama is overwhelmed. There is a zero sum tension between his ability to attend to the economic issues and his ability to be a proactive sculptor of the national security agenda.

“That was the gamble these guys made at the front end of this presidency and I think they’re finding it a hard thing to do everything.”

Similar situation from any boss who realizes that they bit off far more than they could chew...he was ill prepared and completely lacking the required exprerience of an executive position and it's starting to show.

"Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president’s surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk."

It would not have been such a surprise if he'd ever had a REAL job.

It's GOOD to be King

Sarcasm intended.

I sure am glad he was a "Community Organizer", I'll be able to know we have the right man at the helm...

God forbid we have another Katrina, or 9/11.

Overwhelmed? :o
Barak Obama has a domestic agenda that is right on track. He's getting everything he said he wanted, even as far back as the primaries. Health care is next.

As far as foreign policy is concerned, like minded individuals connected with the "PROGRESSIVES" in government have expressed  shame at being the only "superpower" in the world. It's just not right you know. So if they destroy international relations with our allies and make inroads to relations with our enemies, well that's just what we deserve. :P

Everything the Pres said he wanted to do is being done.
Overwhelmed? Yeah, right.

They are building it to show the BHO has managed to endure some tough times since he has no experience.  That way they can later say he led us out of our dark days.  Will be interesting to see how they play it out further.

I just meant for re-election and blaming it all on Bush.  That way his crap doesn't stink when 2010 and 2012 roll around.

The fact that he is in over his head and looking so stressed is a concern for me.  Since, statistically, african-american males have a higher incidence of heart disease than other demographics, and since stress is a contributor to cardiovascular disease, I'm worried that the President may suffer a fatal heart attack from the stress he's under.  God help us if we wind up with President Biden!

You shouldn't be concerned. This socialist progressive nut job is going down as the worst president in history. He has embarrassed us twice, once with Russia, now with England. Russia, N. Korea and China are all testing him and he's sending trained troops from Iraq to Afghanistan after 10 months of training to fight in Iraq. Then, he had to replace them with untrained solders.  Stupid.

He wants to give illegal aliens drivers licenses who rob our SSI, medicare, and jobs, rape our women, and do not pay taxes.  He's giving illegals housing aide because they own homes in the US.

Our border is on FIRE!  Mexico is basically invading parts of Texas and New Mexico and Mexico is blaming our gun owners.  Who, I remind you, pay taxes and obey laws.

Overwhelmed? No, he's got Fraulein Clinton, Emmanual, and Top Criminal Holder to do part of his bidding.

President for life? ? ? ? ?

NBC is already preparing the masses for the possibility. ???    ::)
Coincidental?
Just months after the inauguration and they put out a TV series called "Kings" that seems to be based on the 'what if' premise of this country being ruled by a king.

Actually wasn't he a chicken farmer, rather than a pig farmer?

This was all I could find about Himmler's Farming career with a quick check of Wikipedia so you might be right, but I thought his biography said pigs.
From 1919 to 1922 Himmler studied agronomy at the Munich Technische Hochschule following a short-lived apprenticeship on a farm and subsequent illness.

Nothing stinks like pig poop. Trust me - I have raised both and pigs have everything else beat hands down.

And you can't get that smell out with dynamite!!  When I sold cars we'd try and sell used farm trucks in the dead of winter, and hope that the test drive didn't last long enough for the heater to thaw out the stench.

If he has a heart attack, I sure hope his new health care system is up and running! ::)
