Obama is "overwhelmed"

http://hotair.com/archives/2009/03/07/great-news-obama-fumbled-brown-visit-because-hes-in-over-his-head/

Quote
Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been “overwhelmed” by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.

British officials, meanwhile, admit that the White House and US State Department staff were utterly bemused by complaints that the Prime Minister should have been granted full-blown press conference and a formal dinner, as has been customary. They concede that Obama aides seemed unfamiliar with the expectations that surround a major visit by a British prime minister. …

Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president’s surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk.

A well-connected Washington figure, who is close to members of Mr Obama’s inner circle, expressed concern that Mr Obama had failed so far to “even fake an interest in foreign policy”. …

The American source said: “Obama is overwhelmed. There is a zero sum tension between his ability to attend to the economic issues and his ability to be a proactive sculptor of the national security agenda.

“That was the gamble these guys made at the front end of this presidency and I think they’re finding it a hard thing to do everything.”

No shit?

I can see his hair already starting to turn gray.............Ahhhh the weight of power.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Similar situation from any boss who realizes that they bit off far more than they could chew...he was ill prepared and completely lacking the required exprerience of an executive position and it's starting to show.

It would not have been such a surprise if he'd ever had a REAL job.

I sure am glad he was a "Community Organizer", I'll be able to know we have the right man at the helm...

God forbid we have another Katrina, or 9/11.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Overwhelmed? :o
Barak Obama has a domestic agenda that is right on track. He's getting everything he said he wanted, even as far back as the primaries. Health care is next.

As far as foreign policy is concerned, like minded individuals connected with the "PROGRESSIVES" in government have expressed  shame at being the only "superpower" in the world. It's just not right you know. So if they destroy international relations with our allies and make inroads to relations with our enemies, well that's just what we deserve. :P

Everything the Pres said he wanted to do is being done.
Overwhelmed? Yeah, right.

They are building it to show the BHO has managed to endure some tough times since he has no experience.  That way they can later say he led us out of our dark days.  Will be interesting to see how they play it out further.
