For a shotgun I like no. 4 Buck. It has lots of pellets for multiple hits. There's less chance of overpenetration than 00 Buck but it still hits a lot harder than birdshot.

OK..just trying to stir everyone up. Phil, splurge and have a week long gun orgy at USSA here in Tulsa. Last two years they've had a European client come in with family and shoot it all...shoot house, tactical everything, machine guns...they even brought in a helo for the client. That guy is obviously wealthy.....
I'm just saying...if you got the deep pockets you can get a fix over here....no big problems with foreign nationals and weapons. And then, if that's outside your budget, take a trip to Yemen. You can hit the bazaar and buy RPG, grenades, claymores, etc...I know some oil and gas guys over there who buy AK's and all that fun stuff then drive outside town a bit and have a big time with their purchases....grenades used to be about $5 each.

Why m25, those politically incorrect bullets,....Tsk, Tsk,... ::)
The last gun show I attended, had a box listed as "collectors items" and was asking a mint for 20 rds. of .45ACP.
Isn't the SXT the same renamed round?
-
.45 - Fed HST +P 230 gr in the XD, 230 gr HShok or Hornady 230 gr TAP in the P14 and P12, NiteHawg still trying to find a carry load. Anything in 230 +P is out, makes weird things happen. Standard pressures are supposed to be ok, but I haven't found enough defensive loads to experiment with.
.380 BUG Hornady Crit Defense. Absolutely the most reliable and well behaved round in my LCP. Oddly enough, found quite a bit of it lately.

I've always heard it called "Same Xact Thing".
I thought they had been pulled too, but a quick search online shows they are still out there, just B/O everywhere.

Dude, if I lived in Yemen I'd take two of the grenades to go to lunch. Here in Fl., while there are places where I still would like at least a flashbang, I settle for either 124 JHP Hydrashock, or my new favorite, the Hornady 147 gr TAP in 9mm.
