Just got back from meeting up with a guy on AR15 dot com, who had a case 1k rds, of federal xm855pd, green tip AP ammo, for 300 smackers. Made the swap and just as advertised, 2002, vintage but unopened. Sweet  ;D ;D ;D ;D Met the guy halfway, about a 20 minute drive.

Be a hound and watch for these type of deals, especially local.

PS AR15 forum is a great place to score deals. I got my LNIB eotech fot $250 and you see things like old school Bushies for around 6 bills and really good mag deals. The only thing is, you have to make ten posts before you can search or view classifieds so just put up some BS on sports, politics or recipies.

I don't know about the other guy, but he did eyeball my truck for unwanted visitors, yes I was packing.

FQ, it to me is worth the 25 bucks a year to become a bronze member, it has saved me a lot of money over the years, in scopes, ammo and firearms at great savings, last year I got a crimson trace laser NIB, for a glock for 150.00, the guy got it for xmas, and did not like it. A paid membership gives you instant access to the EE, plus you get to see 5 pages of the Hometown exchange which I put on favorites and visit very often. With a freebie membership, you only get to see 1 page. The hometown exchange is really handy here in Dallas, as most items are either DFW, or Houston, with a little Austin action thrown in. Lots of FTF deals with no paper work or ffl action. Be cool as always and if it does not smell right, don't do it.

I got a glock in Austin, for a friends mom, who has a daughter in Austin who made the pick up, The seller was nervous about me making a straw purchase, and I told him straight up, this is what I am doing and if it does not sit right with you, no harm no foul.
We did make the deal and my friends mom got her Glock at a very good price. On anything that is able to be shipped without ffl, then definitely go to the EE for the whole US, also if your close to a border state, check the hometown EE for them, like me for OK or LA.

It has been a good deal for me.
