There are plenty of drivers that are just out turning laps hoping everybody in front of them breaks or crashes. Then there is big group that just doesn't want to dink the car.

In the late 70's I used to work the corners at Circuit St Jovite for the John Russell Driving School. It was easy to see who came to race and who came to play race car driver. There were young drivers like Jaques and Gil Vileneuve, Scott Goodyear and Dick Dodge who held Pikes Peak unlimited record for years. After a day of F4 racing we would go to go cart track and race carts till the police showed up. They would race anything!

It was very impressive to see them drive.

I don't know who this guy is, or where the race is being held for that matter, but he sure as hell makes up for a lousy qualifying spot! Count how many guys he passes on the first lap!  Bill T.

Wow...great segment....

Often they will have several classes in the same race.  I am guessing that is what was happening here since he totally outclasses so many of the other entries early on...

Bookmarking that one to watch before each trip to the grocery...

Ashley Force has Danica beat 11 ways to Sunday. Better looking. Better person. You can tell by the guys they married. Ashley's husband is a down to Earth nice guy. Someone you would want your daughter to marry. Danica's husband is a subservient a$$ kisser. He has to be.  Bill T.
