No one paid attention back then.......

Cartoon from circa 1948.............evidently, Based on the downward spiral of the last few decades, not many citizens paid attention to it back then.......... and drank the kool-aid anyway.
It is scary with its proximity to today's current state of affairs.

I grew up in a school system that showed these films.  Clips like this one, and the Walter Cronkite You are There films were what we saw on those occasions when we had earned that type of "entertainment."

That's a better history lesson, than some schools. Should be required viewing for a heck of a lot of people, especially the young.

Where's that young girl, during the BHO campaign, that famously stated, "I won't have to worry about my mortgage, or putting gas in my car..., if BHO's elected!"

Can someone find her, and ask how her hope and change is working out and make her watch this?
