Just how PO'ed does this new NoBamaCare make you?
« on: March 22, 2010, 07:07:08 PM »
First off, let me say this: I have went through a nasty divorce and lost my health insurance in 2008! I have been disabled since 2005 and depended on her insurance for my healthcare. I went from living in a decent neighborhood in Akron, OH, to living in the mountains of WV. I have been trying to get medicaid since I got down here in Sept of 2008, but have been turned down numerous times by the Powers That Be! I lost the foundation of Dr. support for my disability case and cannot afford to see the recomended Drs. from around here. (I'm the wrong color and gender for this area!)

This has only made it worse and added fuel to my fire! It only helps those that ALREADY get help!
I'm PISSED OFF AND CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We GOTTA get this Socialist SOB outta office!

Armed rebellion is the only remaining option we have.
After they "reform" immigration they will change Americas demographics enough that we won't be able to vote them out, so we will have no other choice but to hang them.

Strong potential for total agreement here.  Now, we just need a leader to believe in.  If these commies and statists manage to pass amnesty, the result could be either another civil war OR the complete elimination of our Constitution and BoR. Neither is at all desireable.

I continue to weep for my nation.
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

I received a lighthearted email some time ago about the formation of  a new republic with Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, as those three states were able to leave the Union.

It was said in the email that they had "conditionally" joined the Union and were able to secede at any time they wished.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Originally that was true of Arkansas and Texas, I don't know about Ok.
That may have changed when they were readmitted to the Union after the Civil war.

What really sucks about this is,  there are some parts of the bill that are actually very good.   If they had passed just those parts in several bills, they would have had much greater support from both partys and the nation as a whole.  They still would have looked good becuase they did reform health care.

So now the question really is, why didn't they do that?

And now I find out that this so-called reform bill now takes away our right to ship tobacco products in any way!
I'm sick of being told what I can and cannot do.   :'(
