What do you think would be a fun idea for a shooting match? NO, I'm not planning one. This is just me thinking.

I think it would be fun to shoot an all Snubbie match. Or an all Mouse gun match.

We have had a lot of fun matches through the years, you mention a couple of good ones, snub guns aka Bug match, .22rf carbine matches following IDPA type rules. Iron man matches, similar to the Masters, one IDPA stage, one silhouette stage, one bullseye stage, one steel target stage etc..., also man on man, or team on team matches, double elimination, but the winner will not have lost a single stage, winners only compete against winners, losers compete against losers, until only one shooter or team remains.
Man on man, or team on team, works best with falling targets. Unpredictable moving targets, balloons on 2' or 3' tethers, make great but hard targets, each team has a particular color balloon, and they only know their color, object, don't shoot your teams balloons, and eliminate everyone elses of course the balloons are evenly mixed together, and on a windy day, get all tied together for some hard shooting. Weak hand matches, all shooting done with the weak hand. Strong hand only, same thing.
