I think it may actually be a cutting laser. I looked at the comany web site to find out more about it (there is nothing listed), but they specialize in industrial laser cutting equipment.

Hmmmm....looks like a lightsaber, but doesn't act like one....more like a Star Trek Phaser, IMHO....maybe they'll offer a few new housings....  8)
