Smith & Wesson-end of an era

Just finished looking at the 2008 Smith online catalog. The DA/SA alloy frame guns are absent. No 908/910/410. I suspected this was coming when Smith downsized the line last year to the Value Series. Of course, I suspect the M&P line was outselling the alloy guns by huge margins.

In 20 years we will probably be able to buy Model 39s as part of the Classic series.
