Snhiner Bock my friend, a small brewery just outside of austin. its a dry dark beer that isn't heavy and is perfect on a warm evening (or afternoon, or for breakfast ). Anywav, the only difference between Fosters and Bud is the size of the can.

Fosters? Who drinks that shit <insert vomit icon> I dont know of any Aussies that would, bloody horrible crap thats sold to unsuspecting tourists and overseas crowd. There are much better beers about, for eg Boags Premium, Hahn etc
I must admit though given my recent jaunt OS I have succumbed to San Miguel pale pilsners and even their light beer.
I havent tried the Snhiner Bock I must try and search for it and give it a rating

You'll have better luck with "Shiner Bock" . Still, its nothing to write home about, just a really good, dry, kind of light drinking, dark beer. Geared for hot weather, but still has some body to it. Its just a lot better than you'll find on tap in the average US roadhouse and its universal in Tx. Negro Modelo would come close, and it'll be easier to find.
