Somehow Whenever There's An Election, Military Ballots Get "Lost" Or "Late"

First, it was Bush Sr. during the first Gulf War. Than it was GWB for Operation Iraqi Freedom, ballots sent past deadlines, "issues" with transport, counting, getting the ballots to all active military personnel in a combat theater of operations.

Well, the Dems are on the ropes, they know how most armed forces vote, and here we go again.

CHICAGO (WLS) - The U.S. Justice Department is investigating whether the state of Illinois missed the deadline for mailing absentee ballots to members of the military and other overseas American voters as part of a new federal overseas voting law.

ALBANY, N.Y. — Sen. Charles Schumer lashed out at elections officials in the New York City area and two western New York counties for missing a deadline to send military ballots, but elections officials say the ballots are in the mail.

Schumer said Monday that election officials in New York City and Erie, Niagara, Putnam and Westchester counties missed an Oct. 1 deadline for mailing ballots to troops overseas.

Schumer said the mishap means that service members may not receive their ballots in time to vote in the Nov. 2 elections. The state has 320,000 overseas and military voters.
