Need help with a well known metaphore

I know I can count on you guys!

I am looking for the metaphor where a group goes to the bar for beers on a regular basis.  They are of different income levels and disagree over how the bill is split.  Those with more pay more and one drinks free until the wealthy quits coming.

I want to use it in a tax the rich discussion, and can't remember all the details.
