88 years ago today, John Charles Carter was born. Known to the world as Charlton Heston, his work in the film industry, on the stage and in the political field would make an impression on millions across the world.

Nice tribute. Will Penny is a sleeper of a movie, but an excellent example of the art and of Western movies in general. One of my favorites too.

But I gotta mention, FTA:

The past is like talking about ancient Rome, the time in which something happened. "Passed" is what Charleton did, as in "he passed away" - it is an action.

Sheesh.
