Actually a long time ago (more than 25 years) When the LAPD still had revolvers this one older office always got away with not qualifying as he knew the range master and one day he and his partner got a call to a B&E on a warehouse , they went in and the older officer confronted the perp drew his weapon and it just went click,click,click . The pep shot back killing the officer. It took 4 days of soaking the gun in a mixture of Hopes and oil to even to get the cylinder to open another 2 days to get the ammo out. When they got the side plate off it was full of lint and rust. The lesson here clean you weapon and change out ammo and your family will not have these nightmares.
