Just out of curiosity...

I reloaded some 45 colt today and was sitting there thinking about ammo prices. Well, I walked back into the office and did some calculating on the cost of reloading my 45 loads:

Meister Bullet $0.11
Starline Brass: $0.01 (based on price of new brass reloaded 15 times)
CCI Primer $0.03
Titegroup Powder $0.01

Total $0.16 = $80.00 / 500 rounds

I guess I better go back and reload some more.

I take it those are lead bullets?

I can't find anything jacked in 45 or 40 for less then $.14 each when you buy 5k of them  :'(
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

For practice and cowboy action, I use lead. Today, I loaded 45 LC RNFP Weight: 200 GR.

2how,
Went to ammoman.com, they have the best prices I've seen so far, thanks!
Prices are still out of my reach for much shooting, I guess it's time to get back into loading my own.

Are you happy with Meister. I'm using Lazercast. I believe mine are a little harder. Which I come to find out is not a good thing when hitting the banditoes. I'm interested in Meister but no one I shoot with uses them?
