I misread the title and thought it said:  Mister Gibbs changes toddler, live in Atlanta. 

As the Grandpa to three still in diapers, THAT got me all excited. 

Still, it was a sweet story and you are certainly right about the "best deal" aspect of our relationship with dogs.

My boy, Chuey might roll in a loaded diaper, but he'd never change one.  Yet, my life has been enriched because he's part of it--even when he doesn't smell so fresh. (sigh...)

 Fox mislabeled that dog as a Therapy Dog when in fact it is a Service Animal which requires a much higher level of training. They are the only animals I know of that are allowed in places that serve food in the US. Several years ago I met a man with a Newfoundland service dog who had seizures and when they came on him the dog helped him to the ground and watched over him until they passed.
 I have a 2 year old Newfoundland that has passed the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certifications and she is able to visit Hospitals and Nursing Homes with an appointment. All she can do is basically be very well behaved and charm the patients and staff.
