Talk about a shocker

Today I answered the phone and the lady ask to speak to my wife and I ask in regards to what and she responded she might be her Relative. I stated that's different and handed the phone to my wife and said it's for you and off they went, My wife was given up for adoption the day she was born and the only names on the Birth  C was her adopted parents.

She has know for years she was adopted and always wondered if she had any Brothers or Sisters but was hesitant to   follow up on it. Well I guess she had two Brothers she never knew and one has passed a way a few years ago and this was My wifes New found Niece calling. Her dad knew my wife ( his Sister)back in school but never said anything to her about it and after 65 years the family is checking it out.

My wife is in a cloud but happy to find out things about her life and family she never knew but the problem is none of them live close to us and several states away. Life hold many thing and we have exchanged pictures already. My My this is going to get interesting her adopted parents died many years ago.

Sounds like she is inclined to know her blood family now that her adoptive parents are deceased. That's great. Make sure everything is on the up and up, (sorry tin-foil hat wearer),...and I hope they all can get together for a reunion.

It's important for more than just emotional reasons.
Predisposition to some medical conditions such as heart disease and cancer are passed down through families.If her Dr. knows there is a family history he can sometimes put her on diet or exercise regimens that will prevent something well before it needs to be cured.
